saturday

For those of you who don't know, i have a second job. I work at the Hale Centre Theatre on the weekends. I work in the box office selling tickets, handing out tickets, exchanging tickets, printing tickets and etc. It's a really fun job and pretty low key, i deal with a lot of different people everyday. Well every once in awhile i have a patron that i recognize or think i know. Most of the time i don't know how i know someone or from where i know them, but today was the exception! An older gentleman walked in wanting to pick up his eleven tickets for the matinee today. I looked up and was blown away. Instantly i got a bad case of the creeps. I helped the gentleman like nothing was wrong and gave him my biggest smile. who was this man you may ask...Okay. it wasn't t-bag. but the man must have been his twin! eeek!

holding onto water

i feel the need to blog. my head is so full of things i should give updates about but i cant seem to put my thoughts into words. life has been getting back to normal since my amazing trip to Roatan. it truly was the trip of a lifetime. i fell in love with diving. i can not explain how truly peaceful, beautiful and awe-inspiring it is beneath the ocean's surface. i felt like i was in a completely different world. my Roatan experience was filled with beautiful country, awesome people, beautiful beaches and lovey jungles, swimming with 30 feet whales sharks in deep blue ocean, zip lining though the jungle, rummaging through ocean front shops, the most beautiful sunsets, and having no sense of time or stress... brad and i felt the need to expand our family. i said baby, he said puppy. soooo we got a puppy! haha. little sawyer james pico (yes, i loveee Lost, but my sawyer is not named after the sawyer. although i thought the middle name would be funny) was born may 10th and found his way to our home on july 4th! we love him, he's the cutest little puppy. he fits into our family with his little blonde hair and sweet countenance. he's a long haired miniature dachshund! yes, he's a "wiener" dog. but not really. he wont look as weird as the typical wiener dog. haha. he'll stay fluffy, cute, and small!
lastly, i feel the need to express my gratitude for music. i hope i dont sound silly. it calms my nerves, helps me express feelings, brings back sweet memories and sometimes even makes me cry. i turned on my itunes this morning and stumbled upon an album one of my dear sweet old best friend's made me. i have been listening to it all day. i can help but remember my friendship with him and all of our fun adventures. the sweet sounds of death cab, bright eyes, the shins, pinback, iron and wine, ugly casanova and rocky votolato help me feel at home and grounded. i would have never thought this album would still effect me like it did five years ago.
