rainy day/life in technicolor

this weekend has been full of major ups and downs. thanksgiving with the pico's and sleepover with bestfriend. im so happy i got to spend time with emma. i love her more everytime i see her. i cant wait for her to come home again in three weeks. we went shopping and went to qt quite a bit. we also saw twilight (twice for me) and let me tell you, I LOVED IT SO MUCH. if you didnt like it the first time go see it again. amazingggg. we had a sleepover and watched elf. we went to amado's(?) emma got a bean and cheese burrito, it looked delicious. we went to walmart at talked in the parking lot and then ran in and got sugar cookies. i miss her already. we talked and shared secrets and it felt like old times. except, these secrets made me think too much... anyways. i got home this morning and was bored so i made chocolate cake with milk chocolate chips. thennnn i made HOMEMADE cream cheese frosting. i'm so proud of myself. i'm taking the cake to brad's so that they can eat it for me. haha. anyways... i want to go shopping and buy cute boots, cardigans, coats and flannel tshirts.
tonight me and brad are going to work out and watch movies and hopefully play games with his family. we dominated thursday! haha

twilight

ohmygosh these pictures are amazing. at first i didnt like the movie at all, the acting sucked hardcore. but i have faith that it will get better through out the next movies. other than the crappy acting, awkward-ness, major leave-outs and total make-ups the movie was really good. i shall see it again. ALSO, music was spectacular. did i my ears behold RADIOHEAD in the ending credits?!?! i think soooooooo.

"Passing Like a Dream"

whatever
one sees
in the midst
of one's sleep
ends
with waking;
but the dreams
one has while awake
sleeping
won't make you forget.

up and down, back and forth

the screen on my camera is broken. which means i cannot see the pictures i take until i upload them onto a computer. it's been pretty fun... haha, almost comparable to the suspense of a disposable camera.

OH MY. everything is happening so speedily. i never really saw the grasp the adversary had until now. maybe i was blinded to it because i wished it would magically resolve itself. i am seriously nervous now. this is beyond me, beyond my family, beyond this nation. this is a world event. one of our modern Korihors has presented itself and all i can do is have faith. God's plan will present itself and the valient will be protected. faith and fear cannot coexist, so i'll go with faith.

"We live in a time foretold in the scriptures as a day of 'wars, rumors of wars, and earthquakes in divers places' (Mormon 8:30), when 'the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men's hearts shall fail them' (D&C 45:26). But how does this affect us as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints? Are we living with apprehension, fear, and worry? Or have we, amidst all of our challenges, not reason to rejoice? We all go through different life experiences. Some are filled with joy, and others with sorrow and uncertainty. . . Aren't the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and our membership in His Church great reasons to rejoice?"
